Crib and pegging scoring guide

The crib flush exception

Fifteens, pairs, runs and nobs count the same way in a hand and crib. A four-card flush counts only in the hand; a crib flush needs the cut to match too.

3♥ 7♥ 9♥ K♥ + A♣ cut: 4 points · 3♥ 7♥ 9♥ K♥ + A♣ cut: 0 points (crib)

Pegging

Track the cards in play order since the count last reset. Reaching 15 or 31 scores two. A trailing pair scores two; three equal ranks score six; four score twelve. A run scores its length, regardless of play order, but must use consecutive most-recent cards.

Playing 6, 4, then 5 makes fifteen and a three-card run: five points for that last card. Playing 7, 8, 9 then 6 makes a four-card run at a count of 30.

After a go, play any legal remaining cards up to 31. The last card earns one unless it made 31, which already earns two. There is no pegging flush or nobs bonus.
